Azure Data Engineer @ InfoVision Inc

Job Description

Critical Skills to Possess:

      36 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure data services.

      Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, and Data Lake (Gen2).

      Strong SQL and Python skills for data processing and transformation.

      Experience working with structured and unstructured data.

      Familiarity with CDP use cases like identity resolution, customer 360, real-time personalization, and consent management.

      Hands-on experience with data orchestration, monitoring, and logging frameworks.

      Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and security best practices.

      Good understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

      Design and implement scalable and secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Synapse, and related services.

      Integrate data from various internal and external sources (CRM, ERP, Web, Mobile, Loyalty, etc.) into a unified customer 360 view.

      Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability.

      Implement data modeling practices (e.g., Star/Snowflake schemas, Data Vault) aligned to CDP requirements.

      Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

      Apply data quality, validation, and governance rules to ensure reliable and compliant customer data ingestion.

      Collaborate with data science and marketing teams to enable customer segmentation, RFM, CLTV, and recommendation models.

      Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and implement CI/CD practices for automated deployment.
