What youll do on a typical day:
Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications using Java and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
Work with relational databases like Oracle and MySQL, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product Management) to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Utilize development tools and IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or Visual Studio Code.
Test APIs using tools like Postman to ensure functionality and performance.
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
0-1 years of experience in software development or strong academic project experience demonstrating coding proficiency.
Good understanding and hands-on experience with Java.
Basic knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot framework.
