Embedded Product Test Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)

Work Location: Pune (On-site)

Experience Required: 5 - 10 years

Education Requirement: B.Tech only (Mandatory)

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for embedded products.
  
• Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing of embedded systems.
  
• Develop automated test scripts using Python (OOPs).
  
• Work with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
  
• Test communication interfaces like Modbus, Ethernet, HART, and Fieldbus.
  
• Identify, report, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle.
  
• Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and documentation.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5 - 10 years of experience in embedded product testing (manual & automation).
  
• Proficient in Python programming with Object-Oriented concepts.
  
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, HART, Fieldbus).
  
• Strong knowledge of lab instruments for product validation.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  
• Self-starter, able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  
• (Good to have) Exposure to Industrial Automation/Instrumentation domain, C++ unit testing, Agile practices, CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins).
