About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative professional to join our team in advancing enterprise-wide data governance and security initiatives using Microsoft Purview and Azure. This role is open to candidates from all backgrounds and experiences who meet the core qualifications and are passionate about data protection, cloud technologies, and inclusive innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and implement Microsoft Purview for data cataloging, protection, and governance across the organization.
- Conduct assessments to analyze data flows and identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation and remediation of data security events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure network architecture and manage infrastructure provisioning in Azure.
- Monitor and optimize cost metrics, log analytics, and Azure alerts to ensure scalable cloud operations.
- Apply automation tools and performance optimization techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations through best practices in data governance and security.
- 8+ years of experience working with Microsoft Purview, Data Catalog, Data Security, and Information Protection in Azure.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure) and hybrid data environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools and performance optimization in Azure.
- Ability to collaborate on network architecture, resource group management, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing cost metrics, log analytics, and Azure alerts
