Job Description
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration and engineering.
- Strong knowledge & hands on experience of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman).
- Hands on Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Spinnaker).
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security within cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Strong scripting skills with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Fluentd).
- Knowledge of RBAC, Secrets Management, and policy enforcement in Kubernetes (OPA/Gatekeeper).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools like Flux or ArgoCD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across public and hybrid cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and containerized workloads.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning of infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
- Manage container lifecycle, service discovery, networking, and security within Kubernetes.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
- Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and best practices.
