QA Automation ETL - Senior Engineer @ Iris Software

Key Responsibilities:

* Validate ETL workflows and processes across different ETL tools (preferred: IBM DataStage).* Perform data validation and verification using Query Search and SQL queries.* Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL processes.* Develop and maintain automation scripts for ETL testing (using Java/Python).* Collaborate with developers to integrate ETL test cases into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).* Utilize GitHub for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and change tracking.* Identify, report, and track defects to closure, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Required Technical Skills:

* Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and workflows.* Hands-on experience in ETL testing (preferably IBM DataStage).* Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and data validation.* Experience in test automation (Java/Python preferred).* Understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.* Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands for file handling, process monitoring, and log analysis.* Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and basic GitHub commands.* Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
