Python Software Developer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Architect and deploy serverless and microservice-based solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, and EKS
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Integrate third-party services and data sources securely and efficiently
• Optimize backend systems for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot production systems using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and SNS
• Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies and role-based access control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and QA
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership and architectural decisions

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proven experience in API development and AWS cloud services
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and Git workflows
• Understanding of cloud security, authentication, and DevOps practices

Good to Have:

• Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Exposure to monitoring tools and logging frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
