Job Title: Senior VBCS Developer Oracle Fusion Applications
Location: Chennai
Work Timings: Regular Office Hours
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) Developer with 810 years of IT experience, including strong expertise in developing extensions, custom applications, and user interfaces for Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of VBCS, Oracle JET, REST APIs, and Fusion integrations. The role involves collaborating with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly applications that extend Oracle Fusions standard capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Customization
- Design and develop custom web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCS.
- Build UI extensions, custom pages, and embedded apps for Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, and SCM.
- Integrate VBCS applications with Fusion REST/SOAP APIs and external systems.
- Develop dynamic forms, dashboards, workflows, and reports to enhance user experience.
- Apply responsive design principles for cross-device compatibility.
2. Technical Design & Best Practices
- Participate in solution architecture discussions with technical leads and functional consultants.
- Define and implement coding standards, reusable components, and best practices in VBCS.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
- Build reusable UI templates and components using Oracle JET and JavaScript.
3. Support & Maintenance
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and upgrades for VBCS applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, integration issues, and performance problems.
- Document technical designs, integration flows, and user guides.
4. Collaboration & Mentoring
- Work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into VBCS solutions.
- Collaborate with OIC developers for end-to-end integration solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in VBCS, Oracle JET, and integration standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810 years of IT experience with at least 46 years in Oracle VBCS/Oracle JET development.
- Strong background in Oracle Fusion Application implementations (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM).
- Proficiency in:
- Oracle VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service)
- Oracle JET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- REST & SOAP APIs integration with Fusion ERP/HCM
- Experience in mobile-first and responsive web application development.
- Strong understanding of Fusion security roles, authentication, and SSO.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, Git/version control.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Certified in Visual Builder or Fusion Cloud Applications.
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience building SaaS extensions using Oracle PaaS.
- Understanding of UX design principles and usability best practices.
