Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead and coordinate AI-driven projects in the medical imaging domain. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, and project management skills to successfully deliver innovative AI solutions that improve diagnostic workflows and patient outcomes.
Role & responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end AI project lifecycle (ideation, PoC, validation, deployment).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (data scientists, software engineers, clinicians, regulatory).
- Translate clinical needs into AI problem statements and technical deliverables.
- Oversee imaging data curation, annotation, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Support clinical validation studies and regulatory submissions (FDA, CE, CDSCO).
- Ensure adherence to medical software standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, DICOM/HL7/FHIR).
- Track AI trends in medical imaging and propose adoption strategies.
- Liaise with clinical partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors/Masters in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Imaging, or related field.
- 5+ years experience, with 2+ years in AI/ML projects preferably in healthcare IT/Medical Imaging
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound) and PACS/RIS workflows will be added advantage.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch preferred).
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (FDA, CE, ISO).
- Proven experience in project management (Agile/Scrum a plus).
