About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer with expertise in Drupal CMS to design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive, and high-performance websites and web applications. The role involves migrating existing websites from different CMS platforms to Drupal, ensuring scalability, security, and an excellent user experience.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in web development, strong technical skills, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.
- Write clean, efficient PHP code and integrate front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
- Design, manage, and optimize MySQL/relational databases.
- Ensure responsive, SEO-friendly, and performance-optimized websites.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve functionality, security, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers for timely delivery.
- Implement secure coding practices and maintain thorough documentation.
- Stay updated with Drupal upgrades, web technologies, and development trends.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT (Masters degree or certifications preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Drupal 9/10 (modules, themes, architecture, site-building).
- Strong expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery/React/Vue.js).
- Experience in MySQL database design and optimization.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development.
- Knowledge of web security best practices and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with responsive/mobile-first design and CSS pre-processors (SASS/LESS).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevOps practices (CI/CD), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Awareness of SEO and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
