TITLE: Lead Engineer

Key Skills: SQL, Python, Pyspark, Azure, Data Bricks, Team Leading

Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site in Gurgaon, 5 days a week.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering, strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, along with proven leadership capabilities managing data engineering teams. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Azure Data Engineering solutions to support business requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of 5+ data engineers to ensure timely and quality delivery of data engineering projects.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data across multiple platforms.
• Ensure best practices in data security, governance, and quality.
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering development projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in Databricks development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with PySpark.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL, with strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Proven experience (2+ years) leading a team of 5 or more members in data engineering delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
  

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
