The Role

Key responsibilities

• The candidate will work in a development team and will be expected to work within the team perform the following duties:

• Requirements refinement
• Design
• Implementation
• Unit testing
• Automated acceptance testing
• 2nd line support & fixing
• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
• Identifying production and non-production application issues
• Transforming requirements into technical specifications
• Develop, test and maintain application software
• Recommend changes to improve established java application processes

Required skills, experience, and qualifications

• Strong academic background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), University degree in Computer Science.
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Expert Java programming skills
• Experience in multithreading, memory management and performance optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with design and architectural patterns
• Experience with automated testing, test-driven development and continuous integration
• Experience with document-based databases
• Strong English skills
