Job Title: MES Solution Architect
Location Mumbai Pune Bangalore/ Gurgaon
Experience: 8+ Years
Role in Project
The MES Solution Architect will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) using software. This role includes overseeing system architecture, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. The Solution Architect will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver an optimized and efficient MES solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design and Implementation: Design and implement MES solutions tailored to project requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
- Server Architecture: Propose server architecture with hardware and software details to the customer based on the requirement.
- Business Integration: Ensure seamless integration of MES with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, PLM, and SCADA, to enable smooth data flow and interoperability.
- Machine Integration: Ensure integration of MES with shopfloor data with PLC, DCS, OPC etc.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the project team, ensuring that the MES solution meets both functional and technical requirements. Knowledge of standard out of the box solution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MES technology and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the MES solution and related processes.
- Knowledge of Reporting tool like SSRS, and other.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance to achieve high availability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Security: Implement robust security measures to protect MES data and systems, including access controls, encryption, and regular security audits.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the MES solution, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and user manuals.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve MES-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production operations.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and project team members to ensure effective utilization of the MES solution.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience (12+ years) with MES software and related technologies.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Solution Architect in similar projects with a solid understanding of solution design and end-to-end implementation.
- Technical Skills: Server Architecture, Business Integration, Machine Integration, Process Builder, Desktop Client, understanding of DB tables, reporting etc.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issues.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
