Azure Data Engineer @ Coforge

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in ETL/ELT, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality and compliance, and support analytics through robust engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like IICS, Informatica, StreamSets, DBT, ADF, Python, Databricks, SSIS
• Work with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing
• Operate within Azure cloud environments
• Model data for data warehouses, lakes, and hubs
• Apply data standardization, conformance, and transformation techniques
• Ensure compliance with SOX and SOC-2 standards
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated data load processes
• Collaborate on MDM and reference data management

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of data engineering experience
• 6+ years of hands-on ETL/ELT experience
• 1+ year experience with Snowflake
• 1+ year experience in Azure
• 3+ years in data standardization/conformance/transformation
• 3+ years experience with CI/CD in data engineering
• Solid understanding of MDM and reference data
• Experience in SOX/SOC-2 compliant environments
• Experience with automated monitoring of data loads
