Job Description
We are Urgently looking for Solution Architect for Mumbai/Bangalore location.
Exp - 10+ yrs
Work Mode - Hybrid
Shift - UK (2pm - 11pm)
Responsibilities:
Application Modernization Leadership: Lead the modernization of a legacy .NET Frameworkbased application with a transformation roadmap.
Track Oversight: Provide high-level guidance and technical leadership for three parallel workstreams:
o Quote Generation Optimization: Replace 250GB+ SQL Server tables with AWS DocumentDB and ensure seamless integration with existing C# Windows Services.
o Lift & Shift / Containerization: Oversee migration of legacy Windows Services (C# .NET Framework) from on-prem servers to AWS ECS containers.
o Mainframe Dependency Elimination: Redesign data flow by replacing Mainframe static data with DocumentDB, ensuring continued availability of application.
Architecture Roadmap: Own and deliver a revised long-term architecture and transformation plan covering:
o Migration of on-prem virtual machines to AWS EC2.
o Migration of on-prem MySQL servers to AWS RDS.
o Transition from stored procedureheavy logic to microservices-based architecture.
o Potential UI modernization using latest frameworks.
o Reporting and analytics modernization using latest BI tools.
o High availability planning with primary/replica databases and disaster recovery strategy.
o Migration of Windows Servicebased rule engine to AWS serverless (Lambda + Step Functions) where applicable.
Cost-Aware Cloud Strategy: Recommend AWS services considering scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and testers to ensure delivery aligns with performance benchmarks and business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate architecture decisions, risks, and trade-offs with leadership and business stakeholders.Requirements:
10+ years of IT experience with strong background in software architecture and solution design.
Proven expertise in ASP.NET Framework applications and windows services, modernization strategies.
Deep knowledge of AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, DocumentDB, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM.
Hands-on experience in cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift, containerization, and refactoring.
Strong understanding of databases (SQL Server, MySQL, DocumentDB/MongoDB) and data migration strategies.
Knowledge of mainframe integration patterns and strategies for dependency elimination.
Familiarity with microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven architecture.
Experience designing disaster recovery, High Availability, and replication strategies.
Ability to balance cost, performance, and scalability when recommending architecture changes.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills; ability to guide cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
