Job Description

Role Summary Operations & Customer Support Executive (Web Sales):

As an Operations & Customer Support Executive in our Web Sales vertical, you will be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for endtoend policy processing and digital issuance journeys.

You will ensure every step - from application to policy servicing - is executed with operational excellence.

In this role, you will actively collaborate with internal teams, resolve customer queries with empathy and speed, and uphold our promise of delivering a seamless, superior experience to every customer.


Key Responsibilities (Operations):

  • Connect with customers on regular basis to give them timely updates on policies.
  • Coordinate with customers on collection and submission of Additional requirements.
  • Work with internal teams to make sure policies are issued quickly and accurately.
  • Liaise with Operations and Medical team to schedule medicals for customers
  • Keep track of application status, cancellations, and maintain reports.
  • Perform retention attempts on every case before processing cancellation
  • Share ideas with the Websales teams to improve the online policy journey.

Key Responsibilities (Customer Service):

  • Help with post-login queries like document requests, claim assistance and service related queries.
  • Remind customers about renewals and help prevent policy lapses.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and/or customer service; prior experience in the life insurance sector is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
  • Prior experience in backend operations and policy issuance workflows.
  • Understanding of IRDAI regulations and insurance compliance standards.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong process orientation with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of life insurance products and customer servicing workflows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to deliver empathetic and solution-focused support.
