We are looking to fill a Systems and Deployment Administrator position with an

individual who is internally motivated to pursue excellence with respect to the job

responsibilities, and who will continually be considering ways to increase his or her own

efficiency and the teams productivity.  This position requires the ability to persistently

engage problems and provide meaningful solutions that balance both innovation and

consistency of process.  This individual will need to be able to communicate clearly and

concisely in both written and oral mediums.  The job responsibilities are primarily

server/application deployment and support.

Responsibilities

Server/Application Support: 

Performs application deployments, configurations, and support for all

environments

Configuration/management of Windows Server OS (including IIS server role)

Performs server and application migrations

Triage and analyze issues relating to our internal benefits application.

Aid and backup to existing team members for routine tasks


Server Configuration, AD Configuration, SQL Server Management, etc.

Create/update documentation

Work with the team members and development groups to triage and investigate

performance and application issues

 

 

Requirements

Required Skills

7 - 9 years of experience in IT or an appropriate degree

Dedicated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence

Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple Assignments

Knowledge of SQL Server management

Windows Server 2012-2019 (installation, configuration, management & IIS Role) 


Knowledge of Scripting (including analyzing and developing) (PowerShell, CMD,

SQL, etc.)

Assets

Knowledge of Octopus

Knowledge of Azure application Services

Experience with domain environments (Active Directory or LDAP)

Familiar with N-Tier Applications (utilizing IIS web frontend, .Net Services, SQL

Server DB backend)

Familiar with networking (TCP/IP Protocol, DHCP, DNS, VPN)

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure/Cloud technologies

Knowledge of Dynamics CRM

Strong troubleshooting skills
