Looking forVP/GM/AGM - Underwriting for a Insurance Broking company in Chennai with 12 - 15 years experience in Insurance company / insurance broking company..

The Role.
- Supervising the day to day operational activities, ensuring that all processes are followed & executed.
- Providing management, support, guidance and consultation to underwriters.
- Setting Up and reviewing the underwriting guidelines and requirements for various products.
- Support the team by processing/review of various tasks in the policy life cycle.
- Ensure Documentation completeness and adherence to quality norms like IRDA etc.
- Awareness of the end to end process of the Client.
- Developing, coaching, inspiring and evaluating team members and quality checks for underwritten cases.
- To prepare monthly dashboards, error trend presentations and Performance Management reports.
- Meet / exceeds service and quality level as assigned by Clients for the team.
- Managing the internal and external audits while ensuring the satisfactory rating in compliance and audit reviews.
- Coordinating with the client on process related issue and update.
