Role Overview: Fictiv is a leading technology company in the manufacturing industry, known as the AWS of manufacturing, with a vision to enable hardware innovators to build better products faster. As a DevOps Engineer at Fictiv, you play a crucial role in supporting the platform's systems, operationalizing and architecting them for cost and scale. Key Responsibilities: - Leverage automation to scale Fictiv's cloud infrastructure for multi-regional expansion - Build tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in an AWS environment - Perform infrastructure upgrades and updates to enhance system efficiency and minimize downtime - Support Engineering projects and deployments Qualifications Required: - Experienced in building cloud infrastructure and debugging systems in an AWS environment - Proficient in maintaining and scaling event-driven systems - Experience with designing and implementing centralized monitoring solutions - Ability to promote best practices on reliability, incident response, and security - Familiarity with containerization tools and orchestration - Willingness to participate in shared on-call responsibility to meet uptime SLA requirements Additional Company Details: Fictiv's Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem is revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of products like rockets, self-driving cars, and life-saving robots worldwide.
