Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable machine learning models and data-driven solutions that directly impact business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong statistical foundation, excellent programming skills, and a proven ability to deliver value through data.Experience with AI/ML-based pricing engine modeling is a must, as you will play a key role in optimizing our pricing strategies using advanced analytics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world business problems.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive data initiatives.
- Develop and optimize pricing engine models using AI and ML techniques to support strategic pricing decisions.
- Create clear, concise, and actionable data visualizations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of deployed models.
- Mentor junior data scientists and support best practices in data science and analytics.
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.
Technical Skills:
- Must have hands-on experience in developing AI/ML-based pricing engines or dynamic pricing models.
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.
- Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong experience in SQL and working with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, A/B testing, and data mining.
- Experience deploying models in production environments (e.g., using MLflow, Docker, APIs).
- Exposure to building/testing AI applications and using development/testing accelerators is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights
