Job Description
- You are being offered a role as a Blockchain Developer to join the Integrations team and support Polygon (previously Matic Network). Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and Implementing Blockchain technology (Services, libraries, Algorithms) using Solidity, Javascript - Working with clients on dapp/protocol deployments - Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code - Creating tools to help Matic teams improve productivity Qualifications required for this role include: - 0-2 years of experience with Ethereum with Solidity and related tools (Truffle, geth, etc.) - Preferably having done some freelancing or deployed projects to Ethereum - Familiarity with ERC20, ERC 721 and other blockchain concepts - Experience with Git or other version control systems - Contribution to Open Source blockchain projects is a major plus Polygon (Previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. Using Polygon, one can create Optimistic Rollup chains, ZK Rollup chains, stand-alone chains, or any other kind of infra required by the developer. Polygon effectively transforms Ethereum into a full-fledged multi-chain system (aka Internet of Blockchains). This multi-chain system is akin to other ones such as Polkadot, Cosmos, Avalanche, etc with the advantages of Ethereum's security, vibrant ecosystem, and openness.
