Job Description
- As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the technical scope of projects assigned to you. This includes designing robotic kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning strategies while adhering to specific timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. You will collaborate with Leads to enhance your technical skills and focus on continuous development. - Designing robotic kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning strategies - Collaborating with Leads to enhance technical skills - Adhering to specific timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards Your typical engineering activities will involve various tasks such as design and development, system integration, safety and compliance studies, testing and validation, documentation, and on-site support. In the design and development phase, you will work on implementing robotic arm and mobile platform configurations, developing trajectory optimization algorithms, and ensuring accurate alignment of robot positions with provided 3D files. - Implementing robotic arm and mobile platform configurations - Developing trajectory optimization algorithms - Ensuring accurate alignment of robot positions with provided 3D files For system integration, you will be tasked with integrating perception systems, processing real-time data for enhanced robotic perception, and ensuring seamless communication between robot controllers and external systems. Safety and compliance are paramount, as you will develop safety protocols, perform risk assessments, and validate compliance with industry standards and functional safety requirements. - Integrating perception systems for enhanced robotic perception - Ensuring seamless communication between robot controllers and external systems - Developing safety protocols and performing risk assessments Your role will also involve testing and validation, where you will conduct simulation-based and real-world testing of robotic applications, fine-tune system performance, and ensure system reliability through iterative validation processes. On-site support will require you to travel to customer sites, provide technical assistance, and participate in training end-users on system operation and maintenance. - Conducting simulation-based and real-world testing of robotic applications - Fine-tuning system performance and ensuring system reliability - Providing technical assistance and training end-users on system operation and maintenance on-site In addition to technical responsibilities, you are expected to participate in concept development, stay updated on technological advancements, review self and peer work, and create design documentation and manuals. Previous experience in robotics and vision systems programming, proficiency in programming tools of FANUC, KUKA, ABB, STAUBLI, COGNEX, strong computer skills, and familiarity with software tools are essential for this role. Soft skills such as working in an international team, possessing a Green Belt 6-Sigma Certification, fluency in English, willingness to travel, and knowledge of additional languages like Spanish, Polish, Chinese, or German will be advantageous. Overall, your role as a Robotics Engineer will involve a blend of technical expertise, collaboration, and continuous learning to ensure the successful execution of projects.,
