Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Principal Software Engineer, your extensive background in Software Development, particularly with Java and ideally with Angular, will be crucial for this role. You should have experience in ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of applications. Additionally, your familiarity with or strong interest in Operations and DevOps will be valuable as you will be part of a team that bridges the gap between Delivery, DevOps, and Architecture teams. Communication with different stakeholders and leading initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and engineer experience will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and guidance to the development team, ensuring the adoption of best practices, sound architectural decisions, and code excellence. - Develop clean, effective, and sustainable code following industry-standard coding practices. - Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams to understand system components, dependencies, and implementation requirements. - Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, identify areas for improvement, and offer mentorship to team members. - Address complex technical challenges and performance issues by presenting innovative solutions. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve production problems to prevent service disruptions. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. - Lead projects from inception to completion, including initial ideation, proof-of-concepts, implementation, testing, documentation, and training. - Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, optimize development processes, enhance software quality, and increase team efficiency. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience, showcasing strong Java development skills alongside robust logical and analytical capabilities. - Comprehensive expertise in Full Stack Development, with consistent hands-on experience throughout your professional journey. - Previous experience or a strong interest in DevOps and Operations. - In-depth understanding of application design, architectural best practices, and design patterns. - Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot framework deployment, along with expertise in ORM frameworks like Hibernate or equivalent. - Excellent English communication skills for clarifying requirements, following up on initiatives, and providing support and training. - Strong SQL skills, including fundamental query performance tuning knowledge. - History of creating JUnit test cases proficiently. - Demonstrated instances of technical leadership and driving crucial technical resolutions. - Understanding of agile software development methodologies. - Hands-on experience with Restful APIs and a solid grasp of development standards. - Familiarity or foundational knowledge of the Angular framework is beneficial. - Knowledge of Liquibase adds value to the profile.,
