Job Description
- As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automation scripts using Core Java and Selenium WebDriver - Implement and execute automation frameworks such as BDD with Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, Data-Driven Framework, and Page Object Model (POM) - Conduct API testing using tools like JMeter, Postman, and Rest Assured - Utilize Jira for defect management, Git/GitHub for version control, and Maven for build automation - Work with MongoDB for database testing and integrate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - Minimum 1 year of experience in automation testing - Strong expertise in Java-based automation frameworks - Familiarity with API testing tools and best practices - Proficiency in business process optimization and test management tools - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills You should also have a basic understanding of business process optimization, be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, execute test cases, track defects, and share necessary defect information with developers for resolution. Additionally, you should be capable of preparing use cases and sharing them with clients. Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and performance bonuses.
