Job Description
- As a Principal Support Engineer within the Demo Support Organization at Oracle, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful demos that contribute to the success of Oracle Applications. You will be at the forefront of product innovation, creating solutions for complex requirements and playing a crucial role in delivering pre-sales support to Oracle Sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to address pre-sales demo issues and provide solutions while collaborating closely with global sales consultant teams. Serving as a key point of contact for pre-sales demo support, you will offer guidance and assistance to internal Oracle Sales teams on a wide range of demo scenarios and escalated issues. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong customer service orientation, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a global team. You should be a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, a drive for problem-solving, and a results-oriented mindset that prioritizes quality outcomes. As an IC4 level professional, you will be expected to provide strategic functional and technical support to ensure the highest level of pre-sales support. You will be an expert in the ERP domain, offering troubleshooting expertise for functional and technical application issues and devising innovative solutions to address product and demo content gaps. Collaboration with Demo Engineering teams will be essential to resolve demo flow issues in advance and provide advisory support for ERP Cloud demos. Additionally, you will participate in demo release testing, offering feedback to enhance the quality of demo content and working closely with pre-sales consultants globally to design compelling demo solutions. Proactively engaging with the global ERP community, hosting informational sessions, mentoring junior team members, and creating high-quality knowledge articles will be key aspects of your role. Your commitment to continuous learning and skill development will be instrumental in elevating the standard of support provided to Oracle Sales teams and ensuring the success of pre-sales demos.,
