Job Description
- Role Overview: Roquette, a family-owned global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their Finance team in Pantnagar. The financial function aims to contribute to growth and development by managing financial assets, providing solutions for financial matters, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting regulations. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the accounting sub-function at the local level. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure proper accounting in adherence with accounting standards and policies. - Manage direct and indirect tax compliances. - Perform daily bank reconciliations. - Effectively manage suppliers by conducting ledger scrutiny, yearly NDC, and accounts reconciliation. - Coordinate with the HO and Supply Chain Functions for fund arrangement and disbursement. - Prepare various MIS reports like Stock and Debtors Statement, Daily Bank Report, and Maize Outstanding Report. - Generate reports for Capex Spent, Fund Utilization, and Investment Detail on a monthly basis. - Act as a subject matter expert by verifying new vendor codes in ERP and providing continuous support to team members. - Lead Statutory and Internal audits for related areas and prepare various reports as per business requirements. - Assist in day-to-day assignments and participate in Balance Sheet preparation for the unit. Qualification Required: - MBA in Finance or CA inter. - Minimum 10+ years of experience. - Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and Policies, Bank Reconciliation, Management of Suppliers, Project Accounting, and proficiency in Advanced Excel.
