Job description REFDATA C++ REFDATA C++ Developer The ION Reference data and Pricing team is located across India, Germany and Italy. We are currently accelerating our expansion in India requiring talented individuals with strong technical skills, who are looking for responsibilities, continuous learning and financial market exposure to strengthen the development of our C++ Servers, Java Servers and desktop and web UI/UX. If you are a seasoned professional and thrilled to contribute to our mission, you may join us in maintaining and enhancing our suite of Reference data and Pricing products used by more than 60 of the largest financial institutions across the world. Our solution is also central to many other front and back-office solutions in ION. To stay at the cutting edge of technology we also need your skills to create the next generation of re-engineered reference data and pricing products and services. You will be working in an Agile environment in one of the ION Scrum teams. You will be involved in all aspects of product development such as design, implementation, unit and system testing, fixing and documentation preparation. You will work in collaboration with other developers, product owners and business analysts focusing on both infrastructure and application development. The Role Key responsibilities The candidate will work in a development team and will be expected to work within the team perform the following duties: Requirements refinement Design Implementation Unit testing Automated acceptance testing Job description REFDATA C++ 2nd line support & fixing Required skills, experience, and qualifications Education Qualifications: BE/B.Tech. (CS), MCA, Strong academic background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Software development experience in a commercial environment with expert level understanding of OO concepts, Data Structures and algorithms. 3+ years of experience Excellent designing skills. Expert level experience in C++ (for server side). Exposure to the latest versions of C++ would be an added advantage. Experience in multithreading, memory management and performance optimization techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills. Good understanding of SQL. Knowledge of working with relational databases like Sybase, Oracle, MS-SQL Server and MySQL. Experience of working in a team environment. Desired skills & Experience Exposure to AI/ML Experience in core java Experience of automated build and testing utilities such as Jenkins, cpp-unit, Maven, Robot Framework, Docker. Experience in development tools (e.g. Git, WinDBG, GDB, ). Experience in Linux and Windows operating systems internals. Experience in C# (for UI side). Exposure to Agile development practices such as Lean and Scrum.
