Job Description
- As a Testing & Validation Engineer at Vecmocon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of electric vehicle sub-systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding project requirements and electrical schematics for integration and testing of BMS, chargers, and IOTs at bench level and vehicle level. - Performing testing, collecting and analyzing CAN data, verifying protocol adherence, preparing test reports, and providing feedback to the R&D team. - Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), developing and executing test plans, and validating performance. - Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance. - Providing technical support, troubleshooting issues at customer sites, and training customer technicians/test engineers on Vecmocon software and tools. - Traveling to customer sites for integration and testing. Key Skills required for this role include: - Strong grasp of basic concepts of Electrical and Electronics. - Proficiency in documentation tools like Word and Excel. - Hands-on experience in CAN communication and testing tools such as multimeter and DSO. - Proficient English communication skills. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Basic experience in soldering (SMT/THC) and ability to understand schematics. Nice to have skills: - Knowledge of battery management systems, cell balancing, voltage/temperature monitoring, and fault protection. - Understanding of batteries, types, and components. Qualifications: - Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics. - Preferred industries: Automotive electronics, IOT, Inverters, Chargers, Solar.
