Lead Devops Engineer @ Maas Factree Solutions

Job Description

As a Lead DevOps Engineer for the 3DX environment at Birlasoft in Pune, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating all 3DX environments. This includes managing the backend OS which is Linux, using Oracle for the database, and Windows & Windows Server for the fat client components. The CI/CD Toolchain involves Ansible and GitHub. Most of the infrastructure runs on BMW On Prem, with some 3DX sandboxes operating on AWS. Collaboration with development teams is a crucial aspect of this role. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining and operating various 3DX environments, implementing release upgrades, setting up new environments, installing new components, and administering Oracle DB, Linux, Windows, Windows Server, and other related tasks. You will also be responsible for establishing interfaces, implementing security policies, ensuring scalability and reliability, software packaging, rollout management, CI/CD toolchain maintenance, and incident/problem/defect management. To excel in this role, you should have 5-8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in infrastructure and platform projects, with a strong focus on quality, infrastructure automation, IaC, Linux, Oracle, Azure, and AWS. Extensive knowledge of the 3DX Platform, CATIA 3DX, and CATIA V5 POWER`BY is essential. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required. Additionally, familiarity with ITSM, ServiceNow, Oracle DB, Linux system administration, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira would be beneficial for this role. Your dedication to operational excellence, code quality, and efficient workflows will be key to success in this position.,
