- As a Senior Full Stack Development Lead (SDL) at Motorola Solutions, your role within the Digital Program at MSI IT involves empowering users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance to pursue their missions. Your responsibilities include understanding IT systems and applications requirements, building new applications or enhancing existing ones, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Interact with various IT and business stakeholders to understand applications functioning - Identify business and IT needs and translate them into technical and functional requirements - Develop software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications - Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of software solutions - Measure and optimize system performance to innovate for continuous improvement - Provide support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications - Keep applications, software, and hardware up to date **Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:** - Partner with development teams to deliver planned deliverables - Meet with IT leaders to discuss project goals, solution quality, and progress - Estimate work required for project implementation - Test your work, review team members" work, and provide constructive feedback - Serve as the technical lead on multiple active project initiatives - Assist in creating design documents and key artifacts for the project - Help peers and junior team members debug code or resolve technical problems - Drive client satisfaction through successful project delivery and strategic engagement **Basic Requirements:** - Bachelor or MBA in Information Technology - 10-12 years of software development experience in the IT industry - Sound development experience in Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, .NET, XML, and more - Expertise in developing APIs and web services (SOAP and RESTFUL) - Extensive RDBMS database working knowledge with various databases - Experience with development frameworks including AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, and Node.js - Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript skills - Proactive approach to spotting problems and performance bottlenecks - Familiarity with responsive design/development best practices - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Good written and oral communication skills - Well-versed with data structures, algorithms, and data analysis - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS - Exposure to leading software development teams and mentoring - Ability to manage work independently - Familiarity with various testing, defect prevention activities, and Quality Management - Knowledge of AI technologies and CI/CD processes - Experience using DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, and more At Motorola Solutions, we are proud of our people-first and community-focused culture, empowering every Motorolan to be their most authentic self and deliver on the promise of a safer world.
