Job Description
- As a Java Developer at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to shape your career and be part of a collaborative global community. You will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing RESTful APIs and ensuring seamless integration between services. - Working with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch. - Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Optimizing application performance and ensuring high availability. - Troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner. - Maintaining comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and processes. Your profile should include the following qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, and J2EE. - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security. - Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and SOA. - Experience with RESTful Web Services, SOAP, JSON, and XML. - Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deployment strategies. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. - Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Proficiency in Maven/Gradle, JIRA, Git, and Jenkins. - Understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
