Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Software Developer at Wipro Limited, your role is crucial in designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client ends. Your primary goal is to ensure that the software meets 100% quality assurance parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the requirements and design of the product/software by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. - Investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle and facilitate root cause analysis of system issues. - Collaborate with project managers and functional teams to obtain information on software capabilities. - Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development by evaluating analysis, problem definition, and requirements. - Develop and automate processes for software validation by designing test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing them. - Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces. - Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status. - Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress, providing feedback on usability and serviceability. - Capture client requirements and feedback regularly to ensure smooth and timely delivery. - Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and assist team members effectively. - Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces, develop specifications, and performance requirements. - Document and demonstrate solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code. - Ensure good quality interaction with customers through various communication channels. - Respond timely to customer requests and ensure no instances of complaints either internally or externally. Qualifications Required: - Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring of Software experience with 100% error-free implementation and adherence to release plans. - Quality & CSAT expertise in on-time delivery, managing software, troubleshooting queries, and enhancing customer experience. - MIS & Reporting skills with a focus on 100% on-time report generation.
