Job Description
- As the Head of Machine Learning (ML) at Deccan AI, you will be leading our AI and ML initiatives with a focus on innovation and business impact. Your role will involve developing and executing ML and GenAI strategies, mentoring a high-performance team, and driving AI initiatives from concept to deployment. To excel in this position, you should have deep expertise in ML/Generative AI, an academic background from a top-tier institution, and prior experience in startup environments. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of cutting-edge ML and GenAI models such as GANs and transformers, staying updated with AI trends, and integrating the latest technologies into our product offerings. You will engage with clients to understand their needs, deliver tailored AI solutions, and effectively communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful AI product integrations will also be a key aspect of your role. In addition to your technical skills in deep learning, generative models, and AI technologies like TensorFlow and PyTorch, you should possess strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. With at least 8 years of experience in ML/GenAI, including 3+ years in a leadership role, and a top-tier academic background in AI, ML, or a related field, you will be well-equipped to recruit, mentor, and develop top-tier talent in machine learning. A high-energy, self-driven approach combined with a problem-solving mindset will be essential to foster a culture of innovation within your team.,
