Job Description
Educational Qualification Preferably CA, MBA(Finance) with around 15 yrs of work experience.
The role is that of end to end P&L management of a big portfolio/account. Sound knowledge of the accounting principles/practices and its impact on the P&L, excellent analytical skills to highlight opportunities for maximization/optimization of revenue/cost. This being one of the major portfolios, stakeholder management and leadership skills/managing a team are key responsibilities.
Skillsets required:
- Self driven takes up new responsibilities in new areas and suggests/implements the best possible approach to complete them.
- No geographical constraints with flexibility to work on global model/time-zones to meet timelines & SLA.
- Good communication skills written and oral.
- Sound knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Accounting.
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of data analytics and financial modeling
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage/groom and maintain a motivated team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Taking complete ownership of the P&L.
2. Analyzing new business opportunities.
3. Preparation of the Annual budget and subsequent tracking of performance.
4. Ensuring a predictable forecast on a periodic basis.
5. Ensuring timely and accurate month closing activities.
6. Maintaining a strict vigil on all important KPI, financial and non financial on a monthly basis to ensure zero leakage and optimization wherever possible.
7. Ad hoc analysis as per requests from the management.
8. Deliver timely warning signals to the finance team in line with the culture of no surprises.
9. Stakeholder management and close coordination with business
