Python Developer @ Akaasa Technologies

Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
  
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for various applications.
  
• Implement best practices in coding, security, and application performance.
  
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and product owners.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications.
  
• Write unit tests and ensure high code quality with proper documentation.
  
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and delivery.

Required:

• Strong proficiency in Python (8+ years experience).
  
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI (or Flask/Django with transition to FastAPI).
  
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
