Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer Infrastructure to support, maintain, and optimize backend IT systems for wind farm deployment and automation. The role involves working on system reliability, security, automation, and CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and improve backend IT systems for wind farm deployment & updates
  
• Automate system administration tasks for performance, security, and uptime optimization
  
• Proactively mitigate risks via threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and patching
  
• Monitor TLS certificates, storage capacity, and infrastructure availability
  
• Support & enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation
  
• Design & implement concepts for infrastructure hardening, observability, and scalability
  
• Provide lab support ensuring smooth development & testing operations
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Proxmox)
  
• Proficiency in automation & scripting (Ansible, Bash, Python)
  
• Hands-on with containerization (Docker, LXD)
  
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  
• Knowledge of monitoring & observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines & version control (GitLab, GitHub)
  
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (Azure Portal & Azure DevOps)
  
• Proficiency in Cloud-Init & provisioning tools
  
• Understanding of system reliability & software architecture
  
• Familiarity with MinIO, Apache, Nginx, Ubuntu repos, Ansible Galaxies
  
• Fluent in English (German/Spanish is a plus)
