Overview:
Role & responsibilities
As a Senior Developer - Axway , you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise integration solutions using Axway technologies. The role requires advanced hands-on knowledge of Axway B2Bi, Secure Transport, CFT, API Gateway, and related Axway modules, along with expertise in EDI standards, integration protocols, and scripting languages. The candidate will lead development activities, mentor junior team members, and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet performance, scalability, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy Axway B2Bi workflows, mappings, and partner setups.
- Build and maintain EDI mappings (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV) using Axway mapping tools.
- Configure and manage Axway SecureTransport / CFT for secure file transfer solutions.
- Develop and expose REST/SOAP APIs via Axway API Gateway with appropriate security (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
- Integrate with backend systems such as ERP (SAP, Oracle), CRM, and databases.
System Integration & Protocol Management
- Implement and support integrations using AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, OFTP2, JMS, MQ, VANs, Web Services.
- Perform partner onboarding and maintain trading partner profiles, certificates, and encryption keys.
- Ensure high availability, failover, and disaster recovery configurations for Axway platforms.
Support & Monitoring
- Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes.
- Monitor and optimize Axway Sentinel dashboards, alerts, and reports for proactive issue resolution.
- Perform performance tuning of B2Bi workflows, Secure Transport file transfers, and API Gateway policies.
Governance & Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with data security policies (PGP, SSL/TLS, encryption, digital signatures).
- Maintain and update technical documentation including solution designs, process flows, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD automation for Axway deployments (using Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and release planning.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver integration solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers on Axway technologies, EDI standards, and best practices.
