Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports using Excel, SQL, and Power Query.
Automate manual reporting processes using Excel VBA to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from databases for reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting outputs.
Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets using Power Query and Excel Power Pivot.
Support business units with data insights to drive strategic and operational decisions.
Develop and document procedures, data definitions, and reporting standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot report performance and data issues as needed.
Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in MS Excel, including: PivotTables, Power Pivot
Complex formulas (INDEX/MATCH, array formulas, dynamic ranges)
Data visualization using charts, conditional formatting, etc.
Expertise in SQL (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for querying and managing large datasets.
Advanced knowledge of Excel VBA for automating workflows and report generation.
Strong experience with Power Query for data transformation and integration.
Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills for working with non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
