Job Description
Job Summary:The Manager - Billing and Revenue will be responsible for overseeing the entire billing process and revenue management for the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate billing, monitors revenue streams, and collaborates with various departments to maximize revenue recognition and minimize billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of billing systems and revenue management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the end-to-end billing process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the revenue management function including revenue forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and IT teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies.
- Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate with the collections team to minimize outstanding invoices.
- Analyze billing data and revenue trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue enhancement.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly revenue reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal audit requirements related to billing and revenue.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the billing and revenue team to meet departmental goals.
- Coordinate system upgrades and enhancements related to billing and revenue management.
- Support external audits and regulatory reviews related to revenue recognition.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in billing, revenue management, or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of billing systems, ERP software (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and revenue recognition principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
