Job Description
- You will play a crucial role in the team that is shaping the future of gaming at Aristocrat. As a member of the online Digital Gaming team, your main responsibilities will include: - Testing iGaming and ensuring its quality and performance. - Designing and implementing automated testing solutions and tools that are maintainable and tailored to meet the needs of different teams. - Contributing to the technical design of new framework components or tools, ensuring alignment with the overall design and strategy. - Providing training sessions to educate team members on test automation methodologies and tools. - Offering constructive feedback and improvement suggestions on the automation framework architecture. - Participating in tool selection processes by capturing requirements, prioritizing them, and evaluating tools for current and future needs. - Collaborating with architects and development teams to enhance test automation strategies and processes for timely delivery of features. - Improving quality through automated testing and facilitating constructive dialogue with colleagues. - Working with tech leads, team leads, developers, and testers to deliver innovative solutions for core-tech improvements and processes. - Using advanced test techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage and applying risk-based testing for effective coverage. Qualifications we are looking for in a candidate: - Minimum of 5+ years of testing and test automation experience. - A degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience. - Expertise in crafting effective test coverage and selecting appropriate features/test cases for automation. - Proven track record in training and mentoring others in test automation. - Solid experience with development languages like Java, JavaScript, or C#. - Hands-on experience with open source test tools such as TestNG, Junit, Cucumber (JVM), Appium, WebdriverIO. - Experience in automating front-end and back-end applications, across various devices and platforms. - Understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery life cycles. - Proficiency in Git management tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. - Knowledge of proxying tools like Charles and Postman for testing purposes.
