Job Description
- As a Full Stack PHP Developer at Deft Innovations, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs. - Maintaining code integrity and organization. - Working on front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax). - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Implementing security and data protection solutions. - Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. - Managing server and hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to handle load changes. - Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins as needed. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience as a Full Stack PHP Developer (2+ years). - Strong proficiency in PHP and frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter). - Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax). - Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git). - Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. - Good understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Experience with server and hosting environments, including setup, configuration, and maintenance. - Experience with WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization. Nice to have skills include experience with front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular.js, knowledge of Docker or other containerization technologies, understanding of Agile methodologies, and familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
