Job Description
- As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at myFitApp, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to define test objectives, develop test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and analyze test results to drive continuous improvement. Your expertise in manual testing, test automation, and knowledge of tools like SQL, Java, Cucumber, BDD, Gherkin, and Jenkins will be crucial in enhancing our testing processes and methodologies. **Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test objectives, scope, and timelines. - Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and security. - Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality, detect defects, and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Analyze test results and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to testing processes, methodologies, and tools. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and scalability of testing processes. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between testing activities and project goals, priorities, and timelines. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing and hands-on test automation. - Proficiency in SQL and strong knowledge of Java, Cucumber, BDD, and Gherkin for automation. - Experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks. - Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and defect life cycle. - Exposure to Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle for CI/CD. - Experience in Automation Testing with Java + Selenium, API Testing with Postman & RestAssured. - Knowledge or experience in Non-functional testing techniques, including Performance Testing. - Ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps in test coverage, and recommend process improvements. - Experience in conducting Performance testing on API interfaces and Messaging Platform.
