- Role Overview: As part of Team Xbox, you will play a crucial role in empowering billions of gamers worldwide to enjoy their favorite games across various devices. You will be a key player in innovating and bringing new possibilities to the gaming industry by working on cutting-edge technologies and platforms. The Xbox Experiences and Platform Commerce team focuses on providing a seamless ecosystem for publishers and gamers, ensuring a world-class experience for all users. Key Responsibilities: - Work on high-scale, high-availability back-end services that support publisher-facing experiences - Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement service-based solutions - Leverage the latest technologies from Microsoft to develop products and services - Partner with experts to drive impactful changes and adhere to modern engineering principles - Manage technical tasks, ensure quality assurance through automated testing, and update CI/CD pipelines - Build functional and technical documentation, write unit and integration tests, and participate in governance activities Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field AND 3+ years of technical engineering experience - Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - Excellent skills in design, debugging, and problem-solving - Passion for customer satisfaction, product quality, and test engineering - Experience in shipping high-quality products and services - Familiarity with Azure, web services, multi-tiered client/server applications, and cross-device testing Additional Details: The Xbox Experiences and Platforms team focuses on building developer tools and services, commerce systems, platforms, and experiences that enhance the gaming experience for users worldwide.
