Job Description
- As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking (Wealth Management), you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. You will be responsible for creating secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets - Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new technologies Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficient coding skills in react and JavaScript - Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and processes within a technical discipline In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, JPMorgan Chase is a global financial services firm with operations worldwide.
