Job Description
- You will be responsible for collaborating with the software development team to discuss verification protocols and developing high-quality automation test engineering best practices, test strategy, and principles. Your role will involve sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures, writing automation scripts, and implementing software applications. Troubleshooting automation software, finalizing system procedures, identifying software application weaknesses, and target areas will also be part of your job responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to identify software vulnerabilities and security loopholes, reporting them to the software development team with best practices to fix those issues. Creating test reports, including automation reports, identifying quality issues, and collaborating with the software development team to solve application faults are key deliverables expected from you. Following company practices in version control, software testing, and managing software development are essential aspects of this role. You should have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT, with more than 4 years of experience in QA Automation. A deep understanding of testing iOS and Android apps, experience using Automation frameworks like Selenium/Appium, and familiarity with Automated testing procedures using a Continuous Integration model using TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, etc., are essential requirements. Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle, the ability to develop Test strategy, Test plans, Testing approaches, and lead testing activities are necessary. Advanced programming skills, including automation systems and databases, experience in at least one of the programming script languages such as Java/Python/Automation Frameworks, and the capability to enhance, design, and develop test automation frameworks into a continuous integration and execution model are expected from you. You should be able to establish a set of test suites for multiple applications that can run in a CI/CD environment across various test environments. Excellent attention-to-detail ability, presentation skills, logical reasoning, analytical skills, willingness to go the extra mile, and effective communication with international clients verbally and in writing are also required.
