Job Description
- You should have 2 - 4 years of experience in building scalable cloud-based web applications on the Ruby On Rails Framework. Your expertise should include extensive experience with Rails, strong knowledge in OOPS concepts and Design Patterns, and experience with MongoDB, SQL, or comparable relational database systems. Proficiency in building data visualizations and hands-on experience with behavior-driven development using RSpec is essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with JavaScript based UI frameworks like JQuery, AngularJS, React would be a plus. Good front-end knowledge, including HTML5 and CSS, is required. You should also have experience using Git for source code management and knowledge and use of RESTful coding. Continuous Deployment experience is necessary for writing new application features so they can be deployed with zero downtime. You must possess a strong ability to articulate architectures and problem statements. It would be beneficial to have working knowledge of any one of the Cloud Platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google. Knowledge of handling and management of load-balancing and high availability systems and data replications across multiple data centers is advantageous. Experience working with ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana, as well as any Graph Database like Neo4J, is a good-to-have. Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes is also preferred. In addition, prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, domain knowledge in the financial/data space, any external relevant certifications, and hands-on knowledge of deployment and monitoring tools are considered as plus points for this role.
