Job Description
- You are invited to apply for the position of Consultant -Net Developer at Genpact. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web applications using Microsoft .NET, PostgresSQL, Kafka, and Snowflakes. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and developing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices. Additionally, you will perform unit testing, troubleshoot and debug issues, implement continuous integration and continuous deployment processes, and monitor and optimize application performance. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with experience in Data Engineering areas and hands-on coding experience. You should have a strong understanding of the .NET framework and .NET Core, proficiency in developing modern web applications using .NET, and knowledge of MS SQL and PostgresSQL databases. Hands-on experience with PostgresSQL is mandatory, and you should be adept at writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and database design. Furthermore, you should have good knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture, experience in developing apps using Kafka, familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and an understanding of scaling and migrating to newer versions of .NET.
