Job Description
- As a Master Cutter and Tailor, your primary responsibility will be to precisely cut and stitch various garments such as dresses, kaftans, jackets, etc. while ensuring minimal fabric wastage. You will be expected to efficiently manage your time and collaborate effectively with the team to deliver high-quality work. Conducting quality control checks to guarantee perfect finishing will also be part of your role. Moreover, effective communication with customers is essential to ensure their satisfaction. To excel in this role, you must have the ability to take accurate measurements directly from clients or sample dresses. You should be proficient in interpreting designer drawings and translating them into patterns. Your expertise in cutting must encompass clean edges, precise connection points, and the skill to minimize fabric and material waste. Experience in tailoring garments and assembling pieces in the correct sequence is crucial. Additionally, you should be capable of creating a variety of dress shapes like jackets, skirts, Abayas, etc. and possess knowledge of different fabrics and color pattern matching. The ideal candidate for this position will have 5-7 years of relevant experience in master cutting and tailoring, with full-time availability. As the job specifies a preference for male candidates, you should also possess excellent team-player qualities and a positive attitude. Strong communication skills in English, with knowledge of Arabic being an advantage, are necessary. Efficient time management, organizational skills, cleanliness, responsibility, and reliability are key attributes that will contribute to your success in this role.
