- As an Accounting Manager at Withum's India office, you will be an integral part of a team comprising accounting professionals from both the US and India. Being ranked among the Top 25 firms in the US, Withum is committed to recruiting individuals who are not only the best in their field but also have a genuine passion for the business. **Key Responsibilities:** - Enter and process client accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner using the appropriate accounting software. - Regularly monitor the portal for assigned clients to ensure prompt processing of all transactions. - Execute compilation procedures following firm and professional standards under the guidance of engagement leaders. - Develop proficiency in GAAP and various accounting software systems utilized for providing Accounting Outsourcing Services. - Respond promptly and professionally to client and firm associate requests. - Proactively communicate with team members regarding open items, issues, or other significant matters. - Adhere to prescribed budgets and deadlines for assigned tasks. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or equivalent education and experience. (Chartered Accountant) CA Inter or article ship preferred. - Minimum 8 years of post-qualification hands-on experience with a U.S. accounting firm. - Hands-on experience in managing multiple US clients. - Proficiency in Month-End Closes and monitoring controls for R2R Process. - Good working knowledge of Excel, including formatting and creating worksheets for imports and exports. - Familiarity with Fathom Reports or Live Plan. - Ability to maintain client confidentiality, personal objectivity, and professional skepticism.
