Job Description
- Design and implement robust big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Spark.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Optimize existing data processing systems for performance and scalability.
- Work with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and AWS to deploy and manage big data applications.
- Utilize SQL and Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in big data and data engineering.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in big data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Spark.
- Experience with cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Scala for data processing and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
